At FIT4YOU Massage Castle Hill, I want you to feel confident and informed before your session. This page covers common questions about my massage services, what to expect, health fund rebates, and how I support your wellbeing through aromatherapy and low-tox living.
If you can’t find what you’re looking for, feel free to get in touch, I’m here to help.
To get the most out of your session: Stay hydrated before and after your massage. Wear loose, comfortable clothing if you’re having a Be Activated Therapy session.
Avoid eating a heavy meal just before your appointment. Communicate openly, let me know about any pain, injuries, or areas of concern. Take time to relax afterward to allow your body to fully absorb the benefits.
Booking is easy! You can call or text me at 0405 442 711 or book online via my website. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out—I’m happy to help!
Yes! Massage is beneficial for all ages. Children and teens can experience muscle tightness from sports, poor posture from schoolwork, and stress from academic or social pressures. Gentle, therapeutic massage can help with relaxation, improved sleep, and overall well-being. If you’re considering massage for your child, I’m happy to discuss the best approach based on their needs.
Each person’s body responds differently to massage therapy. Some clients experience relief after a single session, while others benefit from an extended treatment plan. During your first appointment, we assess your needs and determine the best course of action for long-term results.
For optimal results, I recommend starting with the Be Activated Sequence (a structured 4-week program with one 1-hour session per week). This ensures correct movement patterns and helps address deep-seated pain and mobility issues rather than just surface-level discomfort.
Your first session begins with a consultation where we discuss your medical history, pain points, and wellness goals. I then tailor the massage techniques to your specific needs. You’ll remain covered with towels during the session, and I will communicate throughout to ensure your comfort.
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing if you’re coming in for Be Activated Therapy or a treatment that involves movement-based techniques. For standard massages, you’ll be covered with towels at all times, with only the area being treated exposed.
The ideal frequency depends on your goals:
For pain relief or injury recovery: Weekly sessions may be beneficial until symptoms improve.
For stress and general well-being: A session every 2-4 weeks helps maintain relaxation and prevent tension buildup.
For athletes or highly active individuals: Regular maintenance massages (weekly or fortnightly) can enhance performance and prevent injuries.
I require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for any appointment cancellations or reschedules. If a session is canceled or changed with less than 24 hours’ notice, a 50% cancellation fee applies, payable within 7 days.
All outstanding fees must be cleared before booking your next session. If you need to adjust your appointment, please call me as soon as possible at 0405 442 711 to avoid cancellation fees.
Yes! Most health funds offer rebates for massage therapy, except HCF and Medibank. I provide a receipt that you can submit to your health fund for manual processing. However, as health fund policies can change, it’s best to check with your provider to confirm your coverage.
Yes! In addition to massage therapy, I provide low-tox living coaching to help you reduce the toxic load on your body. Many everyday products contain chemicals that can disrupt your body’s natural healing process. By switching to low-tox home and personal care products, you can support your health, boost vitality, and improve overall well-being. If you’d like personalized recommendations, let’s chat during your next appointment!
Yes, I use high-quality massage oils and essential oils when suitable. If you have any allergies or preferences, please let me know before your session.
Absolutely! Tension headaches and migraines are often caused by tight neck, shoulder, and jaw muscles. Massage therapy releases muscle tension, improves circulation, and reduces stress levels, all of which contribute to headache relief. Regular massage sessions can also help prevent migraines by promoting relaxation and improving posture.
Yes! I specialise in safe and effective pregnancy massage to help relieve lower back pain, swelling, and tension during pregnancy. These sessions are designed to support both mother and baby’s well-being.
Remedial massage is a targeted therapy aimed at treating pain, injuries, and mobility issues. It involves deep tissue techniques and may include Be Activated Therapy to address the root cause of discomfort.
Relaxation massage, on the other hand, is a gentle, flowing massage designed to reduce stress, improve circulation, and promote relaxation. It’s perfect for unwinding and easing tension.
Absolutely! Massage therapy is known to reduce cortisol levels (stress hormone) and promote deep relaxation by stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system. Clients often report feeling lighter, more balanced, and better able to manage daily stress after a session.
Yes! I provide specialised massage therapy for sports recovery, muscle fatigue, and injury prevention. Whether you’re dealing with strains, overuse injuries, or post-exercise soreness, I can help accelerate your healing and improve performance.
